We were kindly invited to visit Paultons Park – Home of Peppa Pig World on Tuesday 5th November which was the start of the Winter season and a new experience for us as we are used to going on more day trips in the Summer months (especially family theme parks)

We were so excited to spend the day at the well-known and popular family theme park where we had planned to visit for the past 2 years but never got the opportunity until recent. We set off mid morning after the children had woken from their nap and was happy to arrive and see that we had come on on a quiet day which meant no queues!

On arrival the first thing that was visible was how pretty and clean the grounds were and although the weather was dreary with occasional showers, the family theme park surrounded us with lots of beautiful sights of flowers and autumnal colours from the leaves on the trees.

It was lovely that both Nia-Mae and Josiah were able to enjoy all the rides we went on by being accompanied by an adult and I love how the family theme park had just the right amount of rides to entertain young ones as some can be so busy with too many rides to choose from; you can easily miss out from confusion of where to go.

Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride

Nia-Mae loved watching the ride and listening to the theme parks happy music and wasn’t scared of how high it was. The ride lasted a good amount of time and was enjoyed by both children and the parents overlooking the lovely view of the whole theme park.

Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club

This was one of our favourite rides as it was one that stood out from all the rest and we could enjoy the water ride without getting wet plus view all the life-like models of Peppa Pig and her family while listening to the theme tune from the well-known tv show! It was lovely to see the array of colours from the model features which really helped make it stand out from many of the other family theme parks we have visited.

The Queens Flying Coach Ride

We enjoyed our coach ride again over looking the beautiful views which encouraged conversation about what Nia-Mae could see. We could also see others enjoying the ride at the same time and waved to the other children as we passed them by!

Meeting Peppa And George

Luckily we were able to meet Peppa and George and take a photo with them. They were very friendly and there was also a member of staff available to take both professional photos which were available to purchase but also take photos of family’s with Peppa and George using their own cameras. Even though the weather was wet, the children were all very exited to meet them both and we didn’t have to queue which was an added bonus! Peppa and George are available at allocated time slots and they even came from under the shelter to meet the children up close and personal.

Georgie’s Spaceship Play Zone

After a busy morning of exploring the rides we had time inside the play zone where Josiah could spend time out of the pushchair and we could have a break from the wet weather. We really loved the set up as it catered so that both parents could relax and have a cup of tea while the children enjoyed playing in the soft play.

It was suitable for both Nia-Mae and Josiah with age categorised play zones, Nia- Mae enjoyed going down the slide and the activities of the Recycling zone where the children can take part in experimenting with the soft balls. Josiah enjoyed George’s Musical Instrument’s which was specifically an area for babies 1 and under.

We then enjoyed eating lunch before heading out to meet Peppa and George again and then enjoying the scenery of the rest of Paultons Park including Lost Kingdom where Dad enjoyed experiencing the Flight Of The Pterosaur while myself and the children looked and heard all the sounds from the dinosaur models.

We ended the evening with gorgeous hot chocolate before heading home and talking about the days event during the car journey. We can’t wait to visit again next year to go on the rest of the rides and attractions that we missed out on.
